Q & A
Q.How do I add a Lilypie Baby Days signature to my MSN Hotmail email?
AHotmail, no longer accepts HTML signatures, but you can still use the Lilypie tickers by pasting the images directly into the Signature box. If you previously created your Hotmail signature using HTML, you may need to redo it.

These instructions are using Internet Explorer or MSN Explorer as your browser, and they work for the Classic and Live versions of Hotmail.

In your browser go to any webpage where your ticker is displayed, eg. the preview image when you create a ticker, or if you have a My Lilypie account your display tickers page.

In another browser window, sign in to your Hotmail account. In Hotmail:

  1. Go to Mail
  2. Click on Options link (top right). For the new Live Mail interface you then need to click on More options link at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on Personal E-mail Signature
  4. Go to the window with your Lilypie ticker, right click on the ticker image and choose Copy, for Firefox, choose Copy Image.
  5. In Hotmail, right click in the signature box and choose Paste. For IE7, you may not be able to right click. In this case use the shortcut Ctrl-V to paste in the image by holding down your Ctrl key and your v key at the same time. Your ticker image should now display in the Signature box.
  6. Click on Save under the Hotmail signature box and you are done.
If you want to have the left side photo as well as the ticker, I recommend copy-and-pasting the photo first and then do the same again for the ticker.

If your Lilypie Baby Days isn't displaying correctly when you receive a Hotmail email, it may be your Hotmail mail settings. Check here for tips on updating your mail settings.
