How do I add my ticker to my Gmail email?

There is a signature field under Settings / General in Gmail, but in my experience it doesn't accept HTML so if you paste your Lilypie HTML code snippet it will just display it as text. To add your ticker to an email in Gmail you need to paste the image directly into the message body when you compose an email. I have only tested this on a PC so far, I will update this FAQ when I get a chance to test on a Mac.

For Internet Explorer you can copy-and-paste in the image:

  1. Have your ticker open in your browser.
  2. Right click on the ticker image and choose Copy.
  3. Log in to Gmail, click on Compose Mail
  4. Right click in the message body and choose Paste
For Mozilla based browsers such as Firefox. You need to click-drag the images in.
To click-drag:
  1. Open one browser window with your Lilypie ticker
  2. In a separate window, log in to Log in to Gmail, click on Compose Mail.
  3. Set the windows up so that you can click on the image in Lilypie and keeping the mouse button down, drag it over to your Gmail window.
If you want to include the left side photo as well, go back to your ticker and copy-and-paste, or click-drag the photo as well.
